So Just an update for anyone who finds this later. An issue I ran into a lot with those who want the swing-away tow mirrors (like Edgethis or Jarrett Campbell) all the instructional videos and upgrades come from those who have the oldstyle mount for the regular mirrors on the Ford OBS. As seen above I have the f-150 mirrors, and the bracket that exists is actually different, so The issue arises of having holes already drilled that dont fit any of the brackets offered by ford. I have solved this by looking at some aftermarket mirrors. Specifically the peterson swing away mirrors. It allows you to mount to the solid metal piece that is already there and then keep holes you already have.
