Do you use it all the time to reduce deposits, or can you just use it every once and while to clean deposits. Has anybody ever had said deposits?
From what I have learned, DEF is made to a STANDARD, DEF is def. I don’t believe you can buy premium Propane. Same with DEF, it MUST meet a standard. Walmart DEF, same as the rest.
So I wouldn't run it based on the blend. Take a look at the SDS, there is no other chemicals listed except water and urea. However there is a problem, we are taught and the PCM is programmed to monitor DEF concentration. DEF is always a combination of 32.5 percent urea and 67.5 percent de-ionized water. The SDS for the Platinum is showing a range which is definitely not correct...

Peak is adding some magic to the standard DEF mix to prevent or clean deposits. Seems like a lot of unknowns still....
Since DEF has always been considered a standard and must have the proper concentrations and purity levels - one would think that Peak would have a little more information out there other than a diagram showing deposits.
I trust Peak - but this new product should be a little better explained. Systems are way too expensive to start messing with - Im sure there is something to what they are saying, wish they would say it better. Seems like solving a problem that doesn't exist for most people? Maybe OTR?

Is anyone aware of any problems with exhaust 'deposits' related to DEF? I've never heard of any such thing, which of course doesn't mean it doesn't exist. As pointed out above, the required formula is pretty simple.
The market for worthless additives is HUGE! There are plenty of people who will buy this only because it is a "premium" product and by gosh, they're worth it! Whether it works is irrelevant. If that was the criteria, additives would largely be unknown.
