ISO: 2 Groove crankshaft pulley for a 223. I am putting power rack and pinion steering in my '58 and need to add a drive pulley.
The pulley's part number is: B2TZ-6312-A.
If anyone has found a single groove pulley that bolts on to the current single pulley, I'd be interested in that information, too.
I checked with Damper Dudes, they have not received any cores so they have nothing for sale. They mentioned a CNC pulley could run $400.00 or more.
TIA
Try asking on Ford car forums instead. No trucks with 223's were offered with a dual pulley balancer. That was a car-necessitated addition only, I believe. Or at the very least they were much more common on cars.
Ford did make two bolt on pulley options, a single sheave one additional belt unit and a dual sheave two additional belt unit. This was discussed back in 2013. Rather than do a poor job of relaying all the information I will link to that thread: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...y-options.html
Edit: After posting I noted that bigwin56f100 beat me to it. Please consider me a second source with him as first.
Also, I mentioned in that thread that I had a rebuilt truck crank pulley. I lost track of it for several years due to moving, etc. I found it again if someone is interested in it, PM me.
I needed a dual groove pulley for my 40 Buick straight 8 which is unobtanium so I took my balancer and pulley off and used a repro 60s Nova/Chevelle single groove welded to the original.Made sure it was true and had it balanced to have dual groove where none was available. Works great.
