I'm looking for a speedometer drive gear for a 1989 F-150 5 speed manual transmission (M5R2) 2wd. I've got the yellow 7 tooth gear right now and because of tire size I need the 8 tooth. I've searched here and on the internet and contacted a couple different vendors (including LA Speed gear) but I'm having no luck.
The one on the left is what I removed from my truck. The brown one is one I thought would replace it but it has a larger ID.
The yellow one measured w/ a tape measure is about 1 1/4" ID. The brown one has an ID of about 1 3/8 and is part F7TZ-17285-AA.
