There is none, ...unless it is narrowed, (very difficult to do ) as it is too wide.

I would concur with Old F1. The Crown Vic unit people use is from 03 and newer with the bolt on aluminum crossmember. It's fine in later model vehicles, but our old trucks are considerably narrower, and the CV unit is about 6" too wide to fit in a 48-52 Ford truck. There are much better options to add IFS to our older trucks.
Hey Bob,
Most guys going the salvage route use a Jaguar front end as it's
just exactly the right width for our early F1 trucks. The Crown Vic is so wide there
just aren't many wheels that will fit in the fenders.
Hi Bob
I agree that the CV front end is not worth the time nor trouble. The 85 and older Jag XJ6 or 12 is a good way to go. Bolts on with home made brackets. Here are a couple of photos of my 51 f1.
Hope this helps
Dan

I think that a Mustang II is a Ford ? (even when a re-manufactured upgraded part)
That is the best choice by far, ... and it even comes with ford wheel bolt pattern.
I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong but aren't the jags the same as ford ?
Ford owned Jaguar for a time, so one could make a case, even if it might be a stretch, that one could have a jag front end and still call it all Ford.
Personally, I'd make the case, but I'm also about wacky enough that I'd have to have the rotors redrilled 'cause that 4 3/4 bolt pattern would drive me nuts.
well my friend says that he still likes the crown vic.,and yes he knows it is to wide, but a welder friend of his told him that he could cut it and weld it so that it would fit his f1.i told him that he is crazy.i have not heard from him since.
It's not that easy though .
Once the crossmember is narrowed the steering rack needs to also be done .
And if it's not done correctly so the geometry isn't messed up he will suffer from bump steer and other issues .
Exactly. I've found in my travels the world is full of industrial welders who say it's easy to cut and weld things, but they have no clue what it takes to work on automotive sheet metal or, as Scott mentioned, any comprehension of suspension geometry. I've seen the carnage left behind by the uninitiated.
