Hi my name Adam I’m new to this and I’m reaching out for help with a friends truck that is a 2005 Ford F550 work truck has 144,000 and the code I have when I scan it is P2290 so I replaced the icp sensor and pigtail like I seen to do and put motor craft parts on and at the same time i did the fuel filters seen that that could give it too but the truck at 1500 rpms and from 30-40 it shakes/spits and sputtering when driving but doesn’t blow smoke and only at that rpm range and speed so I looking to get help for what to do next idk if I should put another new icp sensor in and a ipr too then see or is the high pressure oil pump going?
The test that I have done with my Snapon scanner is watch for a injector misfire didn’t see that The Ficm is reading 48.5v the icp sensor was matching the Desired pressure but when I would unplug it the truck would idle good but still act up and can’t drive with it unplugged don’t make enough boost can only do 25 mph so I’m not sure what to test or do next. Thank you Adam

Looks like you are working on a 6.0 diesel. Post this in that forum and you'll get a lot more input.
Typically on a 05-07 engine when you have injection pressure issues it's the dummy plugs or STC fitting on the HPOP. the HPOP's rarely fail on these.
