Thanks for the dana60 list...I have the "B4" myself... It's not listed, and wasn't a ford option, but you can also get an aftermarket 3.33 gear for a dana 60. Thats the highest I've ever seen. From ford, the 3.54 was the highest available as that chart shows. BTW, I don't like the fram filters cuz their anti-drainback valves are terrible. This is critical for the sixes, or any other engine where the filter sits horizontally, and can drain back into the engine when not running. Nothing but a motorcraft FL-1A for my engine. Can't beat it for the price. Go check the "oil" forum for many more opinions on this.. MK
Where do you find this info? The more I look into my truck, the more I find that is unusual. Is there a website or place I can write to to get all that info on my 1969 F100? Thanks.
By the way, your website on the 67-72's is real nice. I refer to it all the time.
Cool. You're good with that camera too. Thanks again for the information. I'll see if I can find some books. I'd like to learn all I can about these trucks, specifically mine.
I read somewhere that Ford Didn't have Limited slip for it's 9 inch right away. Maybe thats why you get a Dana 44 on limited slip rearends. Try to find the article.
Hey, thanks. Boy with only a 4200 the legal payload wasn't more than a couple hundred pounds I bet. My 68 F-250 has a GVW of 6050. I think that was the lightest duty 3/4 ton. Amazingly enough it will handle a load better than my 96 F-150 that has about the same GVW,( 6100 I think ), and rides much better wheb empty.
