Buzz test
Hey guys new diesel owner here. Having an issue with injector #6 on my 97 F350 7.3l . The guy i got it from said he did a buzz test and everything passed. what is this test? he said it was a pig tail for that injector. any info would be helpful. thanks in Advance.

The buzz test is a somewhat crude and quick audible test which makes all the injectors buzz simultaneously, then individually. A weak one will stand-out when compared to the rest.
Software is necessary to activate the buzz test cycle.
There are videos on this.
Best bet is to get some diagnostic software in order to get more details from the system. FORScan and Torque Pro are the current top tools.
