I got the automatic power steering column out of a 1970 F250. Since I'm switching over to an automatic does any know if the brake pedal assembly (firewall bracket and pedal ) from the 70' would fit a 65'. I don't want to cut off my clutch pedal if I don't have to. Thanks
Thanks yours is very very different. On mine the "bolt" is welded to the clutch pedal and the other end of this "bolt" is notched for the clutch rod. After taking apart I found you can remove the clutch pedal and replace with a 5/8 by 5 bolt. The unthreaded part is within a few thousands of the original and fits the bushings fine. Cut off the extra inch of threads and it appears it'll work fine.

I didn't want to ruin the clutch pedal assembly if there is a next guy they would be able to put it back in. There is already enough chopped up stuff to try and figure out.
