Ok, I thought I could install the window fuzzies by just rolling down the window, and popping them in, man, was I wrong! After mangling 2 sets I’ve come to realize that the window glass is in the way! I think that if I could lower the glass a few inches and not remove it completely that I’ll attempt it a 3rd time. Can the glass be lowered without removing it?
Yes, if you remove the panel or compartment below the armrest (8 screws) and look you should see the bottom edge of the window. Roll the window all the way down. The glass sits in a metal channel - the "lift channel" - and the regulator attaches to the lift channel using a roller and clip. If you remove the clip and pull the regulator stub out of the roller the window can be lowered without removing it completely. Then install the fuzzies and once they are in then you can lift the window back up making sure to get it into the "run" on the back edge and the "division bar" on the front edge - pop the regulator back into the roller and install the roller clip. It's really not bad as far as the window goes. Getting those fuzzies in correctly can sure be a challenge.

I took the large door panel off, took a lot of pictures. It looks like something I can handle so I ordered another set from DC.
