Just started having this problem today where my fuel pump just shuts off while I’m driving. I tried swapping relays and jumping the relay and it still ends up happening. Truck is a 92 f150 with a carb swapped 5.8. This truck is my daily so I’d like some help figuring out this problem
Without knowing what components from the factory EFI system are left in place it's a guess from this side of the internet.
True that!
I would also check for power at the pump when the issue happens.
relays can be good but if a wire is broken and not letting power get to/from pump it will not pump.
If you are getting power to the pump then it can only be the pump then right?
