Fuel pump
I am having a problem with my 91 F150, on ocassion when I go to start my truck the fuel pump keeps running and will flood the engine. I have twin tanks and it will do it no matter which tank I am on.

Usually , If a fuel pump continues to run when it shouldnt , then the fuel pump relay is the problem , the contacts in the relay stick and continue to energize the pump . Tapping the relay will often times shut off the current flow to the pump . If this is the case , replace the relay .

Fuel pump
The fuel pump relay was the frist thing I tried when this truoble started. I am afraid that my problem runs a little deeper. I am not up on computers or brainboxes (heard called both) but from everything that I have read points right to it. I was hoping that some one else has had the same problem.

Fuel pump
Check the Recalls/TSB link on the menu to the right. I know there have been a LOT of recalls issued related to the fuel delivery system on our trucks. The problem you're having may be related to one of them and be a freebee fix courtisy of your local Ford dealer.
