hard start hot

01 5.4, cold start fine, runs fine, i have to move the gas pedal down to start when hot . new t.p.s., new i.a.c. , no codes. ???????????

1. How long since the fuel filter was changed?
2. Did you inspect and test the fuel pressure regulator on the fuel rail?

fuel filter about 6 months, rail pressure 39-40 cold, or hot. and thank you for answering,Rick

Probably running too rich, hence the pedal down to start. You will need to monitor live data while driving, specifically the short term fuel trims. A few things can contribute to a rich condition, including (but not limited to) a leaking fuel injector (bleeding down into the cylinder).

To resolve this it will take some diagnostics. Forscan or any code reader than displays live data is required.
