Greetings, just came over from the F-150 forum and am the new owner of a 2020 F-250. Question: My F-250 has the high capacity trailer tow package. Is there a physical/visual identifier to spot the difference between the Sterling axle and the Dana axle? The shock absorber/sway bar brackets have the Dana logo stamped on them but the ring gear cover has "FoMoCo" stamped on it.
I'm not suspicious I didn't get the Dana axle included with the HCTTP, I would just like to know how to spot the difference (if any).

another way.......count the bolts on the diff cover. 12 bolt = Sterling. 14 bolt = DANA
EDIT: I guess it would help if *I* opened the link the previous poster put up.LOL
