I just bought a 1947 Mercury 1/2 ton truck and it’s missing a few parts. I am wondering if the hood latch panel is a different size in the 1 - 2 ton trucks? I have a few 48-52 trucks. This is my first pre 48 truck. Doug.
Also, be aware that there were 2 types. There is a shallow one used on 6 cylinders, and a deeper one used for 8s. I believe all Mercs were 8s. The one pictured is for an 8.
