I plan to do some body work on this truck and put a nice, two-toned paint job in it, however, there is a slight misalignment between the bed and cab on one side (see photo)
this new paint job will split at the “dent” and will accentuate the most-alignment
any suggestions include how to fix Notice cab slightly lower than bed

I just ordered a set of cab mounts (made from prothane) from Energy Suspension Parts. This was AFTER I tried all the other major parts suppliers.... (no joy) ....
I was able to get a set of rubber radiator supports from Dennis Carpenter. I have it in hand.
Energy Suspension Parts web site said they had a set...... BUT....... after I ordered, they sent me an email and said they didn't have any either.
Macs... (AKA Ecklers)... shows they have them but after you order they will tell tell you they are backordered. Then, when they become available, they will charge you at that time. I buy my stuff with a debit card so that is a recipe for a non-sufficient funds charge in my case.
SO..... you can either pay for a set and get on the list to have them sent when they become available.... OR.... you can wait until October to see if any have been produced to put on the shelf.
Let me try this reply a third time. For some reason yesterday, I typed a reply twice and my computer just showed it spinning (processing), might of had a slow connection, low bandwidth at the time.
Anyway, if you haven't crawled under your bed and closely looked if your bed has spacers (large washers) between the bed cross member bolt holes and frame, as my 77 F-150 has, in case you maybe able to remove some to improve your contour lines alignment. This might be a possible interim solution until you can replace your cab mounts.
is there a way - please say yes - to replace these without removing the cab?
Yeah they can be replaced with cab in place , the trick in most cases is the removal , , the originals upper an lower sleeves can seize up together and hard to separate or they come out easy sometimes , on mine I removed cab only because I was doing more work but cut out mounts , I cut out the old rubber bushing so I could cut an split upper metal mount so I could separate from the lower metal mount from the bottom, but you will need to raise cab up to remove ,,by a good replacement kit , many ways to replace and lower metal parts can be bought an new rubber or poly mounts , the upper part is not sold but the replacement kits use washers an sleeves , I made my upper ones to be like original but the others will work , its just a matter of separating is the bigger issue
I found a couple of youtube videos where guys made a "puller" to separate the lower pad from the upper....
This guy makes a puller that is a little on the LARGE side. One other video shows a 3" exhaust pipe union from autozone with a piece of plate on top for the puller bolt (ALL THREAD).
This shows the idea.....
