My 2016 had the 3 big fat ugly rear seat headrests that had to be removed to see properly when backing up trailers, so I took them out. Then my 2018 comes along and had a really cool button in the sides so you could flip the rear headrests down when backing up. Perfect idea. Then my 2020 comes along and we are back to the big fat ugly ones again. What's up with that? Why regress functionality? Took them out and put in storage till next truck trade.
PS Only the dog rides in the back so doesn't need any headrests. They just make it harder to bark out of the rear window anyways but we miss the flip buttons.
Shouldn't be looking over your shoulder to back up a trailer. Your side view mirrors are all you need! Watch the UPS, FED EX, trash hauler, fire truck, ambulance, dump truck, etc drivers and see how they do it. Probably a YouTube video or two to help you also!
Sorry, just jammin' ya a bit!
Happy Labor Day and be safe!
