INFO NEEDED

Hey guys
Need some assistance. I'm thinking of buying this truck. This would be the first time owning a truck. Does anyone know what year and model this truck is or how I would find it?
You dont really get a lot of these here in South Africa, hence I'm pretty clueless.
Any info would be awesome.

if you (or someone) have access to it, maybe look at the info on the driver’s door pillar sticker.

get the vin too, of course, and see what comes up on a search

Welcome to FTE. That is what is commonly referred to as a "bump side" truck. Due to the bumped OUT line down the side of the truck. If you can get the dvrs side door open look for a aluminium tag riveted to the edge of the door. That will have the vin, you can decode here. https://www.fordification.com/tech/vin_find.htm

It is a 5th generation F100, 1/2 ton (5 lug), and could be a 1967 thru 1972. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_F...fth_generation)
Looking at the grill I bet its is a 71 or 72, the thread you want to ask and get all sorts of help is here. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/forum39/

No problem, now since that is a right hand drive truck, that aluminium plate (it is actually called a "Warrant plate") and NOT a VIN plate. It could be riveted on the "other door" and then yes there should be a white sticker called a "Safety Certification" on the B pillar by the door striker. And it should have the matching vi# also.
