Looking to find this truck. My father passed away on August 7th 2017. My family refused to let me have anything of my fathers. Though certain things were supposed to go to me. Im looking for this truck that they sold earlier this year. I told them i would buy it off them so i would have something that my dad had pride in. Im 30 years old and this truck my father owned prior to me being born. Many memories of my father and I in this truck. It will be the only thing I will have in memory of my father. Would appreciate if anyone has any information about it. All I have is a video of the person that bought it with a message from my sister stating i will never see the truck again.
Maybe check craigs list to see if it's might be for sale. Or, put an ad in the wanted section.
Here's a long shot, check with PA DMV to see if a truck matching that description was registered recently. They may not want to give you the info so, have a stamped envelope containing your story and a stamped self-addressed envelope. See if they can/will mail the letter to the person. This way they are not "violating" the person's privacy. It's worked for me in the past when looking for the owner of vacant houses.
Good luck
You can set up an RSS search on craigslist and other car-buying sites. It will run the search for you everyday and email you the results. Also there is some website that combines searches just about every car buying site. Hopefully you have the VIN also.
