Just finished up a follow up valve adjustment and now at least one part of my '62 is finished. For what I spent I could have put a V-8 in it but not everyone has a 223
I6 that will get out of its own way. Seat of the pants dyno tells me that the HP has increased from the original 135 to maybe 160-170. Now if I could just find a 262 short block.

Dave, I noticed the electric fuel pump, upgraded master cylinder and fan shroud. I'm headed down your path soon with SusieQ so could you put a few lines together on the "why" and "how" of those three upgrades? I remember you saying the dual master cylinder option for your truck would be challenging due to the Weber/Clifford set up. What changed? Glad you're pathfinding for me! SF.

That's a fuel pressure regulator not an electric fuel pump. The Weber is sensitive about fuel pressure. The fan shroud is a Vintage Air item that went on when I installed the A/C. I wanted to put on a power brake booster when I did the disc brake conversion but the Clifford manifold didn't leave enough room so I did without one. Ended up not being a problem as pedal pressure is not excessive.
Haven't heard the term pathfinder in ages. Flew a few P-3 pathfinders for A-6's doing TRANSPAC's. The go fast guys would bitch about us being so slow (360 KIAS), we would tell them that's the best we could do without burning up the turbines and how nice it was to get out of the flight station, make a head call, walk back to the galley for a fresh cup of coffee and tell the cook how we wanted our steak cooked. Normal reply was Foxtrot Uniform.
Too funny! The TACAIR guys are a hoot. We always told them that if we were to happen upon them after an ejection to always come up the hoist "wallet first."
Back to business...Copy the fuel regulator and the fan shroud. So, the MC is a dual reservoir but no power boost?

Yes, If you use the original intake manifold there should be plenty of room for a booster. The MC's come in 2 flavors, drums front and rear and disc/drum combo I went with. the disc conversion also requires a proportioning valve.
