While I really don’t care what others do to their trucks,I do think it’s silly to level a truck that hauls or tows any amount of weight .

if you dive a round with the rear of a truck lower than the front your just asking to get stopped for being over weight . Only heavily load picks should sit low in the rear.

Exactly what I was going to say. Levelling a truck that tows doesn't make any sense. I love the look of my truck. It screams, "Load me down! Give me something to haul!"

These trucks can fit good size tires with no level kit. Not sure if you have larger than stock tires or not. If so see if they can be ran with no level kit installed. The truck will still look good with the larger tires to fill the wheel well and make the rake stance better overall. Then you should be all set for towing at anytime. Then you can buy timbrens or something else with the money from selling your level kit if you still need suspension helpers.

Maybe next year they will figure out how to bend the frames so the cab is higher than both the front and rear wheels.
Or maybe they’ll leave the freaking truck alone because engineers who design trucks for towing insane amounts of weight know more than people who learned from their drunk uncle out back.

I constantly have people tell me I need to lift or level my truck. Nope, I use it for work and want it to work as intended, not crappy like their brodozers.

You guys do realize that some packages added to the truck make therm sit level form the factory. I have a 2016 F250 CC 4X4 with the snow plow package and the camper package. My truck sits almost perfectly level from the factory. I have the same issue as the OP, when my TT is attached my truck sags just an inch or so. It throws my headlights off and I get the flashing from approaching cars. I am going to go with AB to get back to level. I had them on a previous truck without any issues.

Those years of trucks did not seem to have a lot of rake to them. My buddy has a 16 f250 diesel that sat level as well when he bought it. He put in aftermarket blocks to raise up the rear to give it some rake. He hauls weight with his and it annoyed him as well the same as you.

This is exactly why I think leveling kits are stupid. I just don't get why people hate a slight rake...especially on a truck that is designed to haul weight. This is exactly why the manufacturers design rake into their trucks from the start.
People throw a leveling kit on their trucks right off the lot...which then creates a new problem that they have to fix to tow correctly. It's actually kinda funny to sit back and watch.

OP, best of luck to finding your solution. I hear airbags are nice to have. Install a tank and have on-board air too.

Yup, then after loading a couple adjustable wrenches and a plier, they look like an old female dawg when she squats to pee. But, they all want to make their truck their *OWN* while looking like the rest of the herd!

Yes, the 2020 F-350 176" wb DRW and the 2020 F-450 176" wb DRW rear springs are spec'ed the same, according to the Ford eSource Book.

Combined Rating @ Ground = 9,900 lbs.
No. of Leaves = 5
Total Thickness @ Pad = 7.11 inches
Overall Length = 66.3 inches
Width = 3.0 inches
Deflection Rate (lbs. per in./ Spring) (3 stage) = 480 / 1,200 / 2,152
Rating Each @ Pad (lbs. per Spring Pack) = 4,416

Where the 2020 F-450 cclb DRW pickup can (option depending) differ from the 2020 F-350 cclb DRW pickup is in the FRONT Spring coil.

The F-350 front axle rating stops at 6,000 lbs, whereas the F-450 pickup offers an available front axle rating of 6,500 lbs, and this higher front axle rating comes with front coils that have a slightly thicker wire diameter and heavier rating.

Combined Rating @ Ground: F-350 Max = 6,000 lbs; vs F-450 Max = 6,500 lbs.
Height of Spring @ Design Load: F-350 and F-450 are both 14.7"
Inside Coil Diameter: F-350 and F-450 are both 4.1"
Wire Diameter: F-350 Max = 0.770"; vs F-450 Max = 0.800"
Deflection Rate @ Ground (lbs.per in. ea.): F-350 Max = 499; vs F-450 Max = 553

Yeah those were weird.

With the 2019 you had 3.5 inches forward rake stock on the srw trucks.

On the 2020 I believe it is 2 inches forward rake.

Generally the heavy service springs raise it 1/2 inch and snow plow 1 inch on the diesel but you can get a 350 srw gas snowplow/camper with the highest rated spring and it lifts it more than that.

So anyway I wouldn’t lift one over 1 inch, maybe 1.5 inch. Dont see the point anyway as you can run 37s with just the small lift on the snowplow springs.

Some of these guys with level kits need to look at something like a Raptor.

I have no mods at all, I am box stock OEM, but I did stay. in a Holiday Inn the other night, LOL. I do have the Snowplow/Truck Camper Certification package (can you believe all that for $245 bucks).

Same main spring pack, yes. However, the 19.5 tires on the F450 will not squat like the LTs on the F350 carrying the same 6000lb weight. Also, how does the overload spring on both trucks compare?

Great question.

On all of my F 350's to include my Dually's it had to install Upper Stableloads to negate the sag and bring it back to level, in addition I also had to install Hellwig Big Wig rear sway bar to stabilize the truck on motorcycle roads here in the Texas Hill Country. Very few straight roads and lots of tight curves as the roads wander in and around ranches. Worse the roads were built when cars were not very wide.

Here is the sag on my F 350 sans and mods to accommodate the Truck Camper. The truck does have the Truck Camper option and was primarily used to haul my 15,000 lb 5th wheel. Note the sag as compared to my F 450:

In this pic the TC is not loaded, I am picking it up the as built weight was 4372 and we have some clothes n stuff on there so many 4750 lbs rolling weight.
