2016 Steering Issue

My truck (122,000 miles) has a strange steering issue. When I turn slightly to the left and go to straighten out it "sticks" and takes a little force(easily done with one hand) to get it back straight. It does not make any abnormal sounds/clunks. This does not happen if I make a hard left turn (only when turning a few degrees). This seems to have started after changing the front brakes and rotors. Could I have done something to cause this during the brake job? The steering also feels "tighter" since doing the brakes.

Maybe the electric assist is shot
