I'm trying to turn the passenger side chair into a swivel chair for my '03 Excursion. Ive seen these adapters from Scopema for the Ford Transit however I cant seem to find anything for an Excursion. Has anyone seen anything like this before or made one themselves?
I guess any plates can be drilled through to make up for the spacing but I should figure out how the chair attaches in the first place and if it has enough room to turn. The removal of the center console may be required.
I have 5 Stidd captains chairs on my boat snd as badass ( and expensive as they are i doubt they would or could ever come close to federal crash test standards for suv passenger vehicles.
likely why you only see them in RVs on the highway
Im going to pull the passenger seat, The height of the one you linked might help it turn better then https://www.transitaccessories.com/swivels.php but that has more opportunities for attachment maybe.
