2002 excursion XLT 6.8L 5 star tune headers y pipe
I'm new to the group got my ex about a year ago it was cheap but rough tons of work done to it but I love this thing I am haveing an oil leak problem out of the back of the motor hoping it's not a head gasket but it's tolerable just hate leaking oil lol
Tell us some more about the oil leak.
Which headers and Y pipe does it have and how do you like them?
What tunes from 5Star do you have? Do you tow with it?
What gears does the EX have?
What emblem is that on the front fender where the "Excursion" badge normally goes?
Where in the Keystone state are you? I'm in the Media area of Delaware County, very South East corner of the state.
Lots of questions....

Well, you are my new far away PA neighbor!
For that oil leak, check out the valve cover gasket for a possible origin.
I wouldn't move from 3.73s to only 4.10s, too close to really make a noticeable improvement. If you are going to swap in deeper gears go to 4.30s or 4.56 if you are running taller than stock tires, the 6.8 loves to rev a little to make its best power and deep gears make that happen. I'm spinning 4.88s with my 35"s for an effective 4.39 ratio and it handles our 12K TT very well towing all over the East. I do all of my towing on the 5Star 89 Performance tune, the shift strategy matches my driving style perfectly.
I guess someone didn't realize that Amarillo means yellow........and its also the name of that town in TX, all of the Amarillo pickups were of course, yellow.

Welcome to the club. If you are looking at upgrading your gears to 4.30's, let me know. I have a set of 4.30 axles from my excursion that could work for you.

Have a great day.
I would be very interested in those axles actually if we could work something out
