Needing wiring help


I need help identifying this part it’s the part on the steering column it’s connected to the gear selctor is it the neutral safety switch? I have a C6 trans automatic

Yes I believe that is the neutral switch ,

C7TZ-7A247-A .. NSS (Motorcraft SW-600) / Obsolete

1967/77 F100/350.

Agree. Changed the C6 in '78 to a trans-mounted switch.
Even if there was still a question about it, the wire colors are a dead giveaway. Red w/blue is the starter circuit to energize the starter relay. Black w/red stripe is (in this case) the backup lamp circuit.
