Last week I decided to fix my fuel sender issue, so dropped the tank only to find the sender actually is located handily on the lower side of the Mustang tank I am using. Older but no wiser.

When I first installed the 2001 Explorer rear, I had the stabilizer bolted to the frame, which twisted the frame slightly, causing the backend to be "cocked". Unbolted it and it cured the problem.
