I just received my new 2003 ranger 4x4 and it did not come with front splash guards. It does have the large rear one's. I called the Ford dealer and was told that you had to buy all 4 together, I just need the front two.
Any help would be appeciated. Part #'s or web sites where they would be available.
Thanks
you need to stomp back into the dealer and demand your other two splash guards.
Afterall; they only come IN A SET OF FOUR.

Do a search for the thread titled "useful information for 2003 Ranger owners". I put all that info. in there.
Edit: Well, I tried to search for that thread myself, and I couldn't find it either. So, here ya' go, this is what you'll need to put the mud guards on your truck if you have the factory fender flares:
Front mud flaps (part # 1L5Z-16A550-AAB/C). The part number uses the "B" for one side and the "C" for the other (driver/passenger sides).
Brackets (part # 1L5Z-16264/5-AAA) and 8 x 1 hex head sheetmetal screws (4 of them). Again, one side uses the part number with "4" and the other side uses the "5" in the part number. The screws can be picked up at any hardware store if the dealer doesn't have them handy. You'll also need two of those plastic push-in rivets. And also you'll need two 6mmx25mm body bolts and if Ford doesn't have them they are NAPA part # 665-1149.
Apparently, Ford was trying to cut costs. The inner fender-well guard is also missing on '03 models. It is part # F87Z-16103-AA. It requires 4 or 5 of the plastic push-in rivets.
Then it's even easier. Hmm...do you have the flareside bed? Cause I know on the flareside bed models the mudguards are different. They are actually a molded piece that attaches to the body of the truck itself. The dealer CAN get these for you, if they lie and say they can't go to another dealership.
If you have a styleside bed, but no factory fender flares, then the normal mud flaps that I posted part #s for will still work. They sure do keep the paint along the bottom of the doors in better condition. I recommend them.
