Hello all,
I have a 2018 F250 CCSB 6.2L 54K miles. I have Ridge Grapplers 35x12.5x18 tires, Helwig Big Wig sway bars, front and rear. Yesterday I installed Rancho RS9000XL front and rear. On my test drive I noticed a rattle in the left front when going over bumps. I tried re-torquing everything and even put the factory shock back in the truck and the rattle is still there. Can you all offer any suggestions?
Grab the shocks and wiggle them; should be no movement. Presumably the shock mounts are the source since it started after you changed them out. Probably not the act Shocks since you now have it with the old shocks too.
Had an annoying thumping noise a few years back. Finally found it - rear shock mount was loose.

Agree, I changed my shocks and had to tighten up my left front after a couple of days.
Are you positive that the rattle is from the suspension? I ask because I had a rattle that sounded like it was from the suspension that ended up being from the parking brake pedal that had worked itself loose. I tightened the bolt and no more rattle.
The lower shock bolts need to ba torqued to 110ft. lb.
ask me how I know....rattle, rattle...
Awesome, thanks guys! I have been trying to find this rattle for months. I spend five minutes searching the forum, find this thread and my rattle is solved! The lower bolts were already torqued to 90lbs, but putting them up to 110lbs did it! I like my truck again! Thanks!
