Clockspring? How to know for sure. 1995 F150

Awhile back I had the horns malfunction and the only way to turn them off was to pull the horn relay in the power distribution center under the hood.
Around the same time I got a airbag light flashing and now I notice none of the steering wheel mounted cruise buttons work. My guess...Clockspring.
Anybody have a similar situation with their 1995 F150?

That would be my first move - replace the clock spring.
