I am going to do a delete soon On my ‘15 6.7 and I would like to keep my EGR in place but install the block off plates.
I’ve searched everywhere and cannot find any instructions on how to do this. I’ve looked to buy just the plates but couldn’t find them. I can buy a complete delete kit which is what I’m planning on doing. Would that work? Do I just need to install the two plates? Do I need to drain coolant or anything like that? I saw someone else’s truck that had a pyro sensor in the plate. Where does that come from? This is my first diesel so please forgive me if it’s straight forward and I’m just overthinking it.
They have this website called Youtube that has walkthru videos on just about everything. Here's one where they go through the entire EGR delete process and even identify the source of the pyro sensor that's normally mounted into the blockoff plate! Awesome huh?!?
Thanks - I’m really looking at just doing the block off plates and not fully remove the EGR. I couldn’t find anything on YouTube for that. Thanks for sharing the link.

I know this thread is about a year old now, but man what a great read! I am doing the EGR delete now as well and was struggling find pics or answer to this exact topic. Thanks for a great write-up.
