Transmission problems
My trucks having all sorts of problems the It’s a 1995f-250 with the e40d. transmission shifts good till the temperatures rise then it goes into safe mode and shifts hard I’ve replaced the vss and speedometer goes till about 70 and then goes crazy. Need help I just hope my trans ain’t done for.

Are you saying the speedometer goes crazy at 70 or the trans goes crazy about 70?
The first thing to do to fix this is to read the codes. The places that read codes free CANNOT read these codes. Forscan is the best way (www.forscan.org,) or you could go to a good independent shop, or a Ford dealer. Once you have the codes we can help diagnose what's wrong.

Will the http://www.forscan.org/ work for a 1995 f250 7.3? I believe on the link provided states 1996 or newer. I’ve been looking for a code reader for my 5/1995 truck for awhile and been confused as to which.I see obd2 port but I tried to use my blue driver and it says unsupported. Also having tranny or TC issues. OD light blinks sometimes under load while climbing a grade while in OD, at 65mph and about 2300rpms (410 gears). Does Not happen on every hill but I heard a quick Slight thump and maybe a very slight slip this past time It started blinking. It starts shifting harsh beyond what my John Wood VB normally feels like. But even when blinking I can still get it back up to highway speed. Odometer and speedometer seem to work fine. I only notice delay in TC lock up going into OD accompanied by occasional shift flare. I’m just trying to narrow it down to tranny or TC slip issue.
