Question should I stud or wait

I have a 2003 6.0 with 209k All stock beside deleted. Headgaskets are good and never been chipped. Should I stud it now or wait till issues?

I want to put an 4 inch straight pipe and that's about it for now. I don't care about speed. Just sound lol. Also throw some 35's on maybe a leveling kit

I vote to wait. You don't want to mess up something inadvertently.

I vote for wait too! If it ain't broke, dont fix it. For what I know about the 6.0 is if it's over 150k and hasn't had a problem, it wont... in the matter of studs that is! If you dont lay crazy power to it, it will be just fine!

Never touch a running system.
my 6.0 (14300 vehicle weight) seems to have a very small leak . 10psi coolant pressure at working temp. Rises up to 15-16 psi (only under long WOT rides and growing ECT and EOT). Then comes back to 10psi.

I am in the camp of STUD IT,NEW TURBO and TURN IT UP! I went 230k before having to do head gaskets. I personally know 3 folks that went 215-250k before needing HG's. I also know 2 that had them go out at 150-175k. So really it is a crap shoot! If you have the $ now, why not do it? The biggest thing that dictates to do the work now or later is are you having issues? Have you done a retaliative compression test and a power balance test? When my hg's went the retaliative compression test showed the difference on the cylinders that were leaking.

I would install the 4" exhaust and add a way to monitor EGTs' as they may be higher (depending on usage profile) due to the delete. Then drive on. If you want to install ANY tune, I would proactively install studs. My .02 Russ

I wouldn't stud it until you have a blown head gasket to begin with.
