I've searched the web trying to decipher the differential tag off my '77 Bronco and need a little help.
WFR-B3 7CB
3L50 9 695F
According to fordiffication.com, '77 Bronco 3.50 9.0" L 42 spline 3,300 lb axle

I pulled the axle shafts so I could replace the bearings. I counted the splines and counted 28 spline.

7CB - '77 March 3?
Supposedly, the last four digits are the Plant Code.
Would anyone mind verifying the info I found?

Looks right except the 42 spline axle part. As OEM it's 28 or 31. Aftermarket 35 with all kinds of aftermarket parts.
Limited slip also, that's the "L".
7CB would be March 2, 1977. 7th year, c or 3rd month, b or 2nd day.
It should provide you with many more miles.
