CD player compatibility - please help

I have an '03 F150 with the am/fm/cassette. I am planning on buying an OEM am/fm/cd from ebay to replace it. How can I be sure the wiring connector will be compatible? Looks like they are all the same dash / fit, but I am concerned about the connector. Will cd players from rangers, econolines etc. from the last few years be compatible?

thanks for any help!
