Gas tank help!

I need help trying to figure out what gas tanks I have are they the fancy emission ones or non emissions I know that under the driver side I believe it’s next to the frame there’s a circle thing and I have no idea what that’s for all I know is there’s a wire that hooks to it and runs under the seat
I have a 1977 Ford F-250 custom with a flare side

LMC website describes How to Identify Your Gas Tank: Tanks without Evaporative Emission Control (EEC) are not equipped with a hole for the EEC vent valve. Tanks with EEC are equipped with a hole for the EEC vent valve.

W/EEC = With Evaporative Emissions Control

W/O EEC = Without Evaporative Emissions Control

Look at the rear gas tank, top side of it, right in the middle. Does it have a plastic press in looking check valve? If NO then you do NOT have a Evaporative Emissions Control system. And do not need a tank with that hole in the top.

As far as the side tank, that thing on the side is the sending unit. And that wire is how the sending unit sends how much gas is inside it to the gas gauge.

In case you need one of these. If might be mounted back by and just in front of the rear tank. 78/79 dual fuel tanks frame switch-Duralast/Universal 3 port fuel selector valve used with SW48 toggle switch Part Number: FSV4

"There are two differences between the tanks. Tanks with EEC have a hole in the top center of the tank. A rubber grommet and check valve are pressed into the hole. A line goes from the check valve along the inside of the passenger side frame rail to the engine compartment where it hooks up to a charcoal canister. Non-EEC tanks don't have this hole. The other difference is the nipple for the breather line that is located right next to the nipple for the filler hose is located 180 degrees opposite. If you are going from an EEC tankto a non-EEC tankyou must also change the fuelcap to a vented style. The EEC tanks are vented through the EEC system and use a sealed fuelcap. Non-EEC tanks vent through the fuelfiller cap. If you run a non-EEC tankand a sealed cap the minimum is you'll have fuelstarvation problems, at worst a collapsed fueltank."

Evaporative Emission System abbreviated Evap/Em = NON vented fuel cap, unleaded fuel with a fuel vapor valve in the top of the tank.

Electronic Engine Control (EEC) refers to the on-board computer used in 1979 LTD/Grand Marquis 351W sold new in CA
