My special order F250 was manufactured on 8/8 and quickly moved to "Released to Body Company," likely for the spray-in bed liner. Since 8/14 the status has been listed as "Sent Offsite" and the estimated delivery date is blank. This is reflected on both the Alumzilla and the Ford customer tracking websites. Looking through the 2020 special order thread and other posts on this site I haven't been able to determine what this new status means. Can anyone shed some light on what "Sent Offsite" means? Has anyone else experienced this occurrence? My estimated delivery date had been 8/14 so here I am five days later with no truck and no clue as to when it will be delivered.
Did you call the Dealer? No one can answer that but the dealer themselves.

My dealer was easy to email and shot me back an email the next day only because he was off the day I emailed
That is a new one, off-site. Never heard of that one before. I did hear that Ford randomly pulls vehicles for an intensive quality control check. Maybe yours is the lucky one. Or maybe that is just rumor.

Some accessories (bed liner, spray in liner, mud flaps, etc) are not installed on the main assembly line. The truck is pulled from the line and sent elsewhere. Endsup in a different queue. When I ordered my truck, I intended to get factory bed liner and mud flaps installed. My sales person recommended getting this stuff at local after market shop so my order would not be delayed and the cost would be cheaper.
A couple of guys on the Tremor forum saw this pop up lately too and were able to get a Ford Rep to confirm it’s for Bedliner and other accessories. It seems to be a change in terminology from body company.

I have a message out to them - still waiting on a reply.

I did go through a Released to Body Company phase prior to Sent Offsite. My best guess is that the bed liner was Released to Body Company and the new status may be related to the tonneau cover, bug guard, or mud flaps if all are after factory adds. I'm not sure if there has been a material shortage, which explains why I've kind of been stuck at the status for several days now (the truck was built on 8/8).
My truck is in the same status. I think it's possibly due to 5th wheel hitch, wheel well liner, mud flaps, etc. Mine is still showing sent offsite, but my delivery date still shows 8/25. I'm not going to worry much yet since I am currently on vacation, but if my truck isn't there when I get home, look out!!! lol. I've been waiting since 2/14/20.
I'm basically stuck playing the waiting game at this point. All signs point to "Sent Offsite" meaning one or more accessories (mud flaps, wheel well liners, tonneau cover) are being added by a third party if the "Body Company" step was the spray-in bed liner. Until the truck is returned to the plant everything is on hold and the shipping and delivery dates won't be updated. The dealer can't tell me anything more specific than my buddy with access to the order database because they're looking at the same information. Considering all three of the accessories above should take a few hours max to install something is probably on back-order. Going on two weeks since my production date. I'm still holding out hope that I'll take possession by Labor Day weekend...

Except, your Dealer is the one you ordered from and if it was suppose to be delivered on the 14th, it is the 20th..... I would be calling to find out Why and Where my truck is.
That's just me and to each their own, but I would be on the phone with the dealer

I may not have been clear above, but I did speak with the dealer. He said based on his experience this is normal and still expects delivery by month end. He couldn’t tell me anything more specific. I’ve worked with this guy for several years and have no reason to doubt him at this point.
