2013 bank one lean condition

Have a 2013 F150 5.0 101k miles. Was in a small accident a while back. I am consistently getting these code: PCM(Powertrain
Control Module) P0443:00-64 EVAP(Evaporative Emission System) System
Purge Control Valve A Circuit CMDTCs
PCM(Powertrain
Control Module) P2096:00-64 Post Catalyst Fuel Trim System Too Lean Bank 1 CMDTCs

I have checked Evap purge solenoid. even unplugged it a put a cap on it. I have tried spraying carb cleaner around intake no change. I inspected air filter box including lower section for cracks-none. The bed was off but tank was not removed, I cannot visually check evap return lines. 02 wires are good. The small hose from the evap twin one way valve to the center engine evap purge solenoid has a little noise (not hiss but a small sucking noise) but I tool the line off and checked it with a 100 psi of air underwater with no bubbles.... I don;t know the next step in diagnostic. I have a pretty advanced scanner but don;t know what to look for. I was able to clear the codes out and they reappeared in 2 miles. Help Please! Why would I be lean on bank one?

My only guess would be is the O2 operating correctly on that bank?

Was in a small accident a while back.
Is that relevant to today's problems?
P0443:00-64 EVAP(Evaporative Emission System) System Purge Control Valve A Circuit CMDTCs
This is an electrical circuit fault, vacuum lines cannot cause this fault code. Check the resistance of the purge solenoid coil, it should be 18 +/- 4.5 ohms. If good, verify power is supplied to the coil when the key is in the RUN position and verify the continuity and integrity of the signal wire from the PCM back to other coil terminal. If all good, it's probably an internal PCM fault.
Why would I be lean on bank one?
Probably because you're not. You're interpreting the DTC too literally without understanding what it means. I'd recommend resolving the other code first and then re-testing. There are interactions.

I mentioned the accident because the bed was off, they only disconnected the fuel filler lines but makes me wonder about the vapor lines on the tank. As far as the evap purge cylinder valve, I did check the connection, it is getting vacuum. My systems seems different than all parts illustration I can find. The 5.0 evap purge valve is on the center front of the intake, then a short hose, to two check valve then a longer hose to another solenoid on the left front firewall (drivers). I Cannot find reference to this setup in any parts view. The O2's do read lean. I was going to check fuel pressure but could not find the fuel rail schrader valve. I have had GM products for a long time. I took the small 6 inch hose off the purge valve to the check vavles, I can hear a minor hiss , but could not find a hole or other in the line. It has a couple spring clamp on the evap valve side and a single spring (OE) clamp on the side near the two (made together) check valves. I replaced the OE spring clamps with worm clamps, obviously no positive results. So to test the evap valve, I unplug it and run test light to B+ and listen for a click. Does it allow vacuum when open (seems that would make sense for lean with full vacuum from an empty evap caniister) or does it fail default closed. Could the evap cannister may have been cracked in the accident..is it visible with bed on? I have taken it back tot the repair facility three times, they say it isn't accident related and the insurance company won't pay to take it to Ford unless a causal relationship to the wreck can be established. I appreciate any and all help. BTW I think the evap valve code is a permanent code, can that be erased or does it have to be driven out with multiple crank , run, passed sequenced?

What part of "This is an electrical circuit fault, vacuum lines cannot cause this fault code." didn't register? Leave all the vacuum lines alone unless instructed otherwise.

The O2's do read lean.
Do you understand how the newer "universal" wide-band O2 sensors work? Do you understand the test that was being run (and failed) when the P2196 was posted?

Wow, little hostile there . You mean do I understand that the test that was being run (and failed) when the P2096 not the p2196 was posted? Damn man, if you are that busy don't reply..get a beer or something.

Thanks for the help and video link. it was good information about finding an intermittent failure. The valve was intermittent bad but I still seem to have a leak in the evap system (lean readings on bank 1). The Evap purge canister is right where the truck had the side impact. I wonder if it is cracked slightly. I have a small home made smoke machine for another car, but it is much too small to pressurize the evap system and tank of the F150. I am going to reset the long term memory to clear out the fuel data and go from there. I will post back. Again, thanks for the help.
