Anyone recognize this sound.
1988 f150 4.9. It’s had these put puts for years but it runs fine for the most part. It’s had lots of new parts over the years - plugs wires coil distributor sensors intake gaskets etc.Nothing affects the puts.
Interesting enough when I had the timing light on #1 the other day I noticed the light didn’t always flash consistently and looked like it was affected by the put puts.
Im almost convinced to rip the head off and have it rebuilt.
