I have a 2015 F-250 Super Duty I purchased used.. When I turn on my turn signal all the way to the top or bottom it blinks. When I let it go the signal arm goes back to the center and the blinker stops. Anyone else have this happen. All the bulbs are good and I've tried to change the blinker control arm. TIA
So you already have replaced the multi function switch? Can you feel anything when you move the switch past the momentary position to the lock position?

you should feel the cam lock in at the top or bottom of the travel of the stalk. If it’s not locking in the cam is broken or worn out
Might be like the stupid design on our 2013 Edge. I have to push the signal arm up or down pretty hard to get past the detent so the arm will stay in place. I hate the signal arm on that thing. I heard it was later changed to a different design. I will think I have the stalk up or down far enough, let go, it returns to center and I get the three blink lane change signal..
Unless the turn signal has that momentary option where you have to really push to get it to stay on otherwise it stays on for 3/5 seconds when you push the stalk up or down.

The 2011-2016 and newer trucks do no use a cam lock setup. You push the lever up to "max" and release it, it comes back to center automatically while activating the CanBus to turn the blinkers on until another CanBus signal tells it the steering wheel has turned beyond the cancel point and returned to steering wheel has returned to center.

The arm does not say in place on these trucks. The signals are activated via the CanBus and whether you pushed the "stalk" up slightly for lane change or all the way up/down for turn indication. The "stalk" returns to center position after either activation of the turn signals or lane change.

yeah my work Dodge is like that. I didn’t realize Ford was like that. You push the stalk and hold it then it stays turned on. If you do it momentarily it blinks three times and stops. I’m guessing this feature is to avoid the driving for miles with the turn signal on.
try disconnecting the BCM or the batteries. Sounds like a module or sensor is going bad as the system seems to be ignoring the continuation signal to keep blinking the turn signal but the movement of the stalk still activates the turn signals if you hold it down right? . . If you have someone with Autoenginuity I think they can diagnose it. I have that system and I can do quite a bit of diagnostic stuff. I’m still learning the system.
