getting ready to install hood on my 47 1/2 ton, should I attach the hinges to the hood first or the body? and there are four holes in the body location, do I use upper or lower holes . I couldnt remember how to load pictures of it, guess I'll work on that next. Just moved it out of my corncrib for the first time in 4 years, lots of work to do yet, I'm the same age as it so I move slowbut steady. thanks for any response

Not sure about the four holes in the body location, as the ones I've done only had two on each side. I first install the hood hinge brackets to the cowl and leave them loose, so they can be adjusted and tightened up after the hood has been installed. Put a blanket across the cowl to protect the rear hood edge and top of cowl, then set the hood in place. Lift the hood up at the front and support it. Attach the hood hinge bracket arms to the hood, then attach the hood support arms (hinges). Hope this helps.
