Sliding or barn doors? The lower latch for the barn doors often corrodes and seizes up, I had to replace the lower latch on the rear door of the 2011 I just picked up and the lower latch on the side door is sticking too. In your case with the doors not opening the only thing to do is remove the inner door panel as best you can, I had to do that with the 04 Ranger we have to get the rear quarter doors to open.
