Rear main
I have an early 04 6.0 that had a hpop leak. Drove me nuts but it turned out to be a broken oring between j tube and pump. Truck has been sitting for 2 weeks and has been leaking oil like crazy. So I decreased the engine and dprayed it down. Was hoping it was oil pan but I'm finding oil on the bell housing. So is it safe to say its a rear main seal? 230000 on the clock. Hpop cover is off and the top of the motor was dry. Replaced glow plug harness cause it was leaking. So is it better to pull the motor or drop the transmission (4×2) ?

You have bell housing cover behind the oil pan and on the opposite position of the starter on the driver's side. You should pull them to see how much oil in on the flywheel/torque converter. Worst case, pull the starter and look in.
If there is a lot of oil in there, rear main and trans comes out. No much, it was probably the GP harness.
