drive line question

So I redid my suspension a few years ago. It's heavy duty f150 towing leaf springs that was an unintentional 2" lift. My rear drive line is almost maxed out in the slip yoke. But I've had a hell of a time finding a rear drive line that's 2" longer.
I have noticed that front drive lines are longer on the Broncos.

So my question is:
Can I use a front drive line on the rear?

My truck is an 84 Bronco 4 speed manual trans.

The short answer is, not easily. The rear DS needs the double cardan U-joint assembly at the forward end becasue the angle of the shaft at full articulation even with stock suspension is too much for a single u-joint range of motion. Front DS do not have this provision and while it may be possible to add it, there is no guarantee that the added length will work once you include the double cardan assembly.. Out of curiosity, if you are willing to purchase another driveshaft, why not just have one the correct length made?

You are going to need a custom rear driveshaft with a double cardan joint.

I don’t see how the front driveshaft is different than what would be on a pickup. The drivetrain and mounting location in the frame is identical. They are the same truck from the “B” pillar forward.
