Differential magnet deposits
Decided to pull the plug on the rear differential yesterday to have a quick peak at the fluid level. The level was fine, and color of the fluid looked brand new - even though it's been in there for about 3 years (maybe 10k miles...maybe). The deposits on the magnetic plug, however...this has me concerned.
There are some fairly big chunks going on here. Truck isn't making any unusual sounds, vibrations, grinding, or anything like that. I know I should just bite the bullet, pull the cover, inspect things and give it new fluid. Before I do, I wanted to ask the community here: what are y'all's experience with "normal" magnetic deposits?
I'm used to seeing the fuzz type stuff that's usually on the transmission pan magnet.
I've been wanting to swap in 4.56 gears for a long time. Maybe I should see the silver lining here, and consider getting a little more serious about that now.
Lay the chunks out on a paper towel, and let us see them

Anything that is bigger than the particles that you'd get from normal gear or limited-slip clutch wear is bad. If you can rub the stuff between your fingers and feel what I would say are grains of sand, something is shredding internally.
