DEF Injector line removal
Hi all. I was wondering if anyone can help with a quick question. I have a 2012 F250 with a 6.7. I’ve started getting error code D2048 several times per day. I decided to remove , test and maybe clean the DEF injector. So I’ve removed the two nuts holding the injector on but I’m not sure how to remove the fluid line from the injector. There is a 90 degree elbow further up the line from the injector with a white retaining clip. I removed that clip but the line still seems to be held on to the injector. I don’t want to break anything if there is some sort of spring loaded retainer holding the hose on or some trick to removing it that I’m not aware of. Can anybody help? Thank you in advance!
