I got the new kitchen faucet plumbed in the motorhome, much nicer than the old factory one. Had to put in new rubber gaskets and that solved all my leaking problems. Planning on putting on the new tires next weekend, that's the last major thing to get done. Other than a few other small things I think we are pretty much ready to take her on vacation.
Sorry have not responded sooner been busy. It was a long trip we did the 3 day drive vs 2. We left here drive to Merdian then Shreveport then Texas and same stops back. Monday we had dinner with most of family. Daughter could not make it granddaughter was sick.
Tuesday we left the camper about 8 drove to Waco meet the builder designed the house we were there till 2 . Did not do interior colors. They may change before we build.
We had to meet the land developer at 5. He showed us the property. We found the track we want it 3 acres on a hill. It one I had a dream about it. We could not go on the property cause they have not closed on it yet. We had first choice. It 55k 2500 down. We did not get back till after 11. Got up Wenesday and headed back
we are head to Fl. Tuesday be down there thru Sunday. This trip to visit our son and get the rest of Debra stuff. When we get home camper going in back yard till Christmas when we go back to TX. That the plan anyway, we may get a case of burn out and do a short trip out to Lake Oconee
Glad you made it back safe. Step dad is doing my mom's celebration of life the weekend after the labor day weekend. He changed it to that weekend so we don't have to drive to Florida twice because there were no camping spots open Labor Day weekend in Panama City. We went to Home Depot yesterday to get a few things and ended up spending $700 bucks on various things. They had a super nice 8x10 outdoor carpet we bought on sale to use with the motorhome.
Replaced a duct pipe for the AC under the house and shimmed up the box while I was under there. Water was not dripping out the outside vent pipe anymore since it had sunken down about 6 inches on the far end. Nothing exciting this weekend since I was just catching up on some past due chores. My daughter and her husband left to go to the beach yesterday for a week, she facetimed my wife this afternoon and she got really bad sunburned on their first day. She is going to be hating life the rest of the week.
We got a few big jobs in this week which is nice. The amount of work sure is different this year compared to last year, by this time last year we were begging for people to bring stuff.
Driving the motorhome to work tomorrow to get it ready to install the new tires.
I got the motorhome moved around so I can drive it to work tomorrow. It takes a little while to move that big sucker around with all the trees we have in the yard. While I have it at work there is a few other things besides the tires I can get done on it. I need to adjust the slide and fix a mud flap brace that got messed up when we blew the front tire.

I had the most service sales today than any other store in our division!! On the downhill slide now, less than 30 minutes till the weekend. Coming in tomorrow to put the new tires on the motorhome, one more thing I will be able to cross off the list. So ready for our vacation.
Me and my buddy got all the tires changed out yesterday and my lower back is killing me today. It took us a heck of a lot longer than we were expecting but we got it done. By looking at the date codes on the old tires they were over 9 years old, it was way past time to be replaced. The tire we had put on by the roadside service last year I put it in the belly as a spare. Always had a small leak on the left rear inside tire, we found a small stick between the bead of the old tire and the rim. We also got the 2 mud flaps installed that got ripped off when the tire blew out.
We have been in Fl all week. Been busting son, Debra really needed this trip. We drove down Tusesday got to DeLand right after the tornado. Son got no damage. Her family are a bunch of butts. Saw one of her brothers for 20 minutes. Thursday we went to canaviral nation seashore for a few hours (boardwalk 5) it was not crowded. Last night went to New Smyrna speedway. Watch pro late model qual and and 2 attempts to start the modified feature then the rains came. Debra did get to see 2 wrecks
The land developer sent me a text last night everything has been approved faster than the month he told me. That good and bad the bad we don't have the down payment right now.
We have to go over to son's and get some stuff to take back then headed home. He is moving with us. He may be up for Thanksgiving if he does not have a job, but will be up for Christmas. I have suggested come Thanksgiving and stay till after Christmas
