Anylevel lift kit

First off I don’t care about the price or anyone’s opinion about it being a waste of money. I’m not using your money so deal with it.

But is anyone running this lift or has ever rode in one? How does it ride?

Where’s the Whistlin Diesel guy? He thoroughly tested one of their lifts. Before he completely beat the **** out of it, he gave it high marks for the ride quality. The kit he had used Kings. He was jumping the truck and it seemed to land and sort itself out without any drama. That’s all I got. I live vicariously through youTube.

The builder is going to rebuild the truck Whistling Diesel had.

As far as Anylevel he had no bad reviews on it. Entertaining videos.

it really will be cool to see. Not sure how much i’d call a rebuild though, that thing was thoroughly trashed. Engine will have to be completely torn down and mostly rebuilt, I believe the frame was bent, axles were bent, every body panel on the truck was trashed, any level lift was shot, wheels were ruined. I’m sure what was worth salvaging from the original truck!

The axle ends up front are bent, rear axle, needs new front fenders, Windshield, door skins, new bed, and new transmission, bumpers and grill.

The motor was fine I thought. The blow by thing was a joke they all do that somewhat.

He said he was powder coating a frame for it but didnt say it was bent.

Obviously the suspension needs to be replaced.

Oh, I thought he tweaked the frame also. You might be right about the engine internals but it should still be gone through, he had that thing cooking a few times (especially when it was buried).

To the OP's original question though, I thought that AnyLevel kit held up damn well considering the abuse he threw at it!

Actually the doors may be ok without a reskin I looked again but hard to tell on video.

Basically all the stuff thats fubar’d is easy stuff. They didnt get into the cab corners, door frames, inner fenders, etc. I dont see anything they did that would tweak the frame bad.

Can almost bet they had some sort of deal before handing the truck over. He kept swearing the stock temp gauge lies etc but over heating it a few times isn’t gonna kill it; if they blew a headgasket they would have fixed it.

Anyway, I liked the Ranger videos. Too bad he killed it. Hopefully they limit the damage on the 1st gen to just a paint job and putting a stock interior back in it.

I've been in one and drove it awhile. It's a coil over lift for the most part so that's how it feels. The kits use King coil overs so good product.

They force you to purchase every option or you can;t place an order. PLUS they tack on another 3 grand to powdercoat the system which should be an included cost, then to top it off, they also force you to use their installers instead of DIY and that fee STARTS at 12 stacks. I call big ol' pile of bull****. because that comes to 60 grand after tires and wheels and miscellaneous other parts. No ****in thanks.

If youre coming out of the closet, just say so. You dont also need to ruin a truck.

It rides like garbage. Try an old impala hoopty. Or go make a fruity Harley Trike or something. Buy an old bar, and remodel it to the Blue Oyster.
