I have a 2008 Ford F350 King Ranch and yesterday I found a bolt laying on the side of my driveway (pic below) that looks like it could be from my rig. I did a once over on my suspension/frame but didn't see any obvious issues or missing fasteners. Does anybody have an idea if / where this could have come from off my truck or where to focus additional investigation? I think its too much to hope that it came off a UPS or fedex truck...
Bed bolt would have a flat...not a hex...torx type head, plus it would have to find its way over the bed rails. Look at the body mounts under the chassis, maybe the shock mounts, etc....I know you said you looked but some of those can be hard to see...
