Ha there was just a thread on this. It is an AMC Pacer Front end. It was popular back in the day for getting an IFS under a project as it has about the same track width as many older vehicles at 61". Bolt pattern is 5 x 4.5" it's the small Ford 5 bolt pattern

I put an AMC Pacer suspension under a 1934 Pontiac many moons ago. Worked out well. The only drawback now might be availability of parts since they haven't been made since the 70s.

I'm the other guy with the AMC

I'm the other guy with the AMC Pacer ifs that Matthewq4b was talking about. I've been doing some research and it looks like all the parts are still available. I was originally going to cut it out and replace it with Mustang 2 but Matthew convinced me to just keep it. Honestly, I like the way the truck handles in the front so why replace it. For my truck (1956 F100) the builder boxed the frame then welded it in.

I have talked to several including the guy I got it from . He said the same they handled great and he just redone all this before I got it . He removed it to put the mustang 2 style from a 40 .So I get new discs power steering and 3 inch drop all with bolt on ( I will weld it ) I an going to use it on my parts truck rebuild .
