Without actual inside knowledge (or facts!) I presume that AGMs went to vehicles with (I don't know the correct name) auto start-stop. By this I mean those engines that turn off when you stop and restart when you remove your foot from the brake.

When my F-250 was destroyed by hail my insurance company got me a BMW series 7 for a few weeks and a Jeep Compass for a few weeks. Start/stop on the former was worked well while on he latter it was poor.

Might as well just take the battery and buy your own the ones Ford uses are junk. I have 2 F350 a 6.2 and 6.7 both 19’s and they leak. The 6.7 has been replaced and leaking again I already replaced the one on the 6.2 the 6.7 is next.

I noticed my driver’s side positive cable clamp starting to corrode on my 2017 PS about 15,000 miles. I cleaned the clamp and installed a “disc” to prevent further corrosion. On a trip out west, I again noticed corrosion, and had a Ford dealer in Wyoming clean the terminal and clamp again during a routine oil change at 20,000 miles. Once home and during my next oil change at my local dealer I explained the reoccurring problem. They replaced that battery, and also installed a new battery cable since the old clamp was questionable at that point. All has been good since.
